3rd CA posting.
On Thursday, we had a very weird and well, weird event in school. A fire drill. As exciting as it sounds, it's not. My class was having a P.E. theory lesson with Ms. Sheika when the crazy fire alarm sounded. Just like every occurrence, a commotion broke out. I really don't see why should have these fire drills when I haven't seen any schools in Singapore that actually caught fire. So as we lined up outside the classroom, very, very relaxed, I took a quick glance around the surroundings and something caught my eye. Not the students jumping up and down, but something else. A very weird sight that just simply adds to the entire mood of queerness. It was a sign of "FIRE! FIRE!" on a piece of paper, stuck on the door of the home economics room. It was surprisingly hilarious, and I had to admit, ingenious. We slowly (squeezingly) made our way down four flights of stairs and to the burning field. We sat there in the merciless sun for about 15 minutes, waiting for all the classes to settle down and for the attendance taking. I chatted with my friends about this crazy event, and soon, we made our way back to class for dismissal. =]

2nd CA posting.
I already knew that this week would be a hectic one since Monday. Homework, projects, band practices. I guess this is not what a typical Secondary 2 student would go through, especially at the beginning of a new year. I guess I'll just have to cope. =[ But all these distractions did not stop me from reading. Reading is the very first thing I fell in love with, ever since I was 4. So on Tuesday night, despite reaching home VERY late because of the Design and Technology project, I managed to put aside my homework on that day to read. I read on the bus, and there were distractions too, such as the horrendous chatter of the commuters, the blasting rain and the leaking roof of the bus. The leaking roof was very irritating though, so much as it actually dripped on MY book. When I reached home at about 6.30 pm, I even skipped dinner so as to continue with the absorbing contents of "Flowers for Algernon". It's a really sad story about self-esteem and how a mentally disabled man coped with it, and a successful operation turned him into a genius, but finally deteriorates to his original IQ. I guess reading is really something the world cannot do without. =]
1st CA posting.
On Saturday, which was two days ago, I woke up at 6 am as usual as I had to go for my band practice in school. After boarding the bus, I fell asleep, and I slept all the way. When i finally woke up, I realised that i had missed the bus stop at which I was supposed to alight! Fumbling for my wallet, I rushed down the stairs, ringing every bell I saw. I had to walk all the way back to previous bus stop, and take the next bus. I wasn't late for band practice, but I was ALMOST. Band practice was long and tedious, and by the time I finished, it was already 1.15 pm. Straight after that, I made my way to my grandmother's house (my mom's mother) to have tuition with my cousin.
Since I was passing by Tampines Mall, I decided to buy a burger to reward myself for surviving band practice and also to prepare myself for the upcoming terrors of maths questions. And that was when I realised that my wallet had NO MONEY. EMPTY. BARE. So I had no choice but to go up to my grandmother's house to borrow money from my cousin to buy myself a burger. By then I had practically lost my appetite. o.O Anyway, I bought some bread from "Cake History" which was supposed to have chocolate filling in them. As I was biting into my last piece of bread, again, there was NOTHING INSIDE. HOLLOW. BARE. I clenched my fist in anger. I was LIVID AND PISSED. I bit into the bread so hard that my teeth sank through the bread and cut my gum. I managed to put on a smile all the way back to my grandmother' house while I ranted and raved inside.
I shall not include the horrifying 5 hours of crazy maths questions that I did. I'm actually quite proud of myself sometimes for surviving such terror. After that, I trudged my way to the bus stop downstairs, and took a bus to Bedok interchange. I was supposed to go and visit my grandfather (my dad's dad) as he had just undergone surgery. When I got there, THERE WAS NO ONE. EMPTY. BARE. My grandparents had gone out out dinner! I was so very upset that that I sat at the door step and stayed there for awhile before regaining my composure. I was finally on my way HOME. HOME WHICH I HAD NOT SEEN FOR THE LAST 14 HOURS. The bus ride was, of course, very 'intriguing' as the stupid television was not working. Well, half- working. There was sound without the image.
I almost died on the way home, considering the freezing air-condition blasting at my face and the almost uprooted seat which kept sliding off. There was a huge surprise when I got home! My parents were bringing me to have sushi for dinner! It wasn't so much of a huge surprise, but considering the very unlucky day I had today, what more could I ask for? =/

My thoughts on blogging.
I feel that blogging is like a modern way of writing in a diary. If the English Department did not suggest blogging as a module of learning, I wouldn't even have learnt to create one. A blog is useful in terms of convinence and design compared to a diary, but a diary is more discreet and personal, which i guess most people would prefer. Blogs are fun because you can go and visit your friends' blogs, read them and leave a comment for other readers to think about, which is something like a forum to share opinions and thoughts. =]
